The Imitation Recreation is a nail-biting race versus time pursuing Alan Turing (pioneer of modern day-working day computing and credited with cracking the German Enigma code) and his fantastic workforce at Britain’s top-top secret code-breaking centre, Bletchley Park, for the duration of the darkest days of Earth War II. Turing, whose contributions and genius considerably shortened the war, preserving 1000’s of lives, was the eventual victim of an unenlightened British institution, but his function and legacy live on.

THE IMITATION Recreation stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness, TV’s Sherlock) as Alan Turing and Keira Knightley (Atonement) as shut close friend and fellow code-breaker Joan Clarke, along with a top notch forged which includes Matthew Goode (A One Male), Mark Solid (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Rory Kinnear (Skyfall), Charles Dance (Gosford Park, TV’s Recreation of Thrones), Allen Leech (In Worry, TV’s Downton Abbey) and Matthew Beard (An Education).

  1. Really great movie. If you love logic, algorithmic and cryptography you will love this movie. I really hate the world for beeing so stupid. This man changed our lives and suicided himself because of other retarded humans and their retarded minds. It wasn't the first time and won't be the last time and that is what makes me so sad about this retarded world. I am german and i have imagined what would have happened to all of us if Alan Turing and his team didn't break Enigma. Just imagine this and ask yourself what is going on in the world right now.

  2. Thank you Alan and his team. If it had not been for them the whole of Europe would now be controlled by Germans in a German controlled European Union…….Hey! Now I come to think about it!…..

  3. My Favorite Movie of 2014 !!!  .  Better to watch "Codebreaker 2011" before watching this one … to have a better understanding of The story

  4. My ex husband's uncle was Peter Twinn who was the first brilliant mathematician brought into the group. My grandson had Monday off from school and went with grandpa Greg Twinn to go see the movie and loved it! When I was over at his home today he handed me a photo copy of the article placed in the London news paper all about his great uncle Peter. My grandson turned 14 in December and has loved history since 5 of age . I used to turn on the history channel way back when he was little so that he could hopefully end up loving history. To think of how proud he was today when he handed me that old article to read brings tears to my eyes! Love for history? MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !
